"We always new that Matterport 3D Showcases WalkAround™ tours would have super-hero powers for helping film/TV location scouts source locations," says Dan. "What better way to showcase the Matterport super-hero powers than have Sony Picture's POWERS film at Atlanta Tech Village as a result of our WalkAround tours of the 2nd Floor; Rooftop Lounge; and Community Room."
POWERS is the first television series to be distributed via Sony's PlayStation platform for users that are members of PlayStation Plus.
POWERS Actress Logan Browning ("Zora') loved her Atlanta Tech Village experience so much she returned for a tour and visit with these tech-entertainment Village member companies:
Had an amazing day back at @ATLTechVillage. Thank you @DanSmigrod for showing me around & being so gracious. #techstartups #Atlanta

During Logan's Friendly Human TV production studio visit, she recorded a 'video shout-out' for Village members to say "thank you so much for letting us film an episode here. We had an amazing time." Logan added an inspirational message that doubles as the POWERS marketing tagline, "The Real Power Lies Within You."
"The gritty show, about two homicide detectives who solve murders involving super-powered criminals, is based on the comic book of the same name," according to Variety in an article announcing the premiere. "As PlayStation looks to broaden the appeal of video game console and turn it into more of a hub for all forms of entertainment, the company, like Netflix and Amazon, is pursing exclusive TV shows and movies as a way to attract more users and generate additional revenue."
