Atlanta Matterport Photographer Excited About a Door Stop

This blog post is by We Get Around Founder, CEO and Chief Photographer Dan Smigrod.

The Wedge-It is my new bff. It's a "must have" door stop for all Matterport photographers because it holds open doors that are heavy; have a large gap between the floor and the door; and doors that have a propensity to swing in the wind.

While Magic Sliders door stops work great for most house-hold doors, as soon as you have have big, heavy doors that open to the outside, you need the Wedge-It door stop.

The Wedge-It will save-the-day for a Matterport 3D Showcase photo shoot I have this Wednesday of an Atlanta luxury hotel indoor pool that has heavy doors that open to an outdoor patio.

I will simply place the Wedge-It door stop in the door jam. It fits nicely over the door hinge. Since all four doors need to be open simultaneously for the 360-photography, I have four Wedge-Its.

"[Wedget-It] was designed by Emergency Service Personnel to hold doors open to a 90 degree angle from any of 3 different locations," says the description on Amazon. "Because of its convenience and ease of use, it has been adopted by other trades and professions."

I have added the Wedge-It to my official Matterport gear and accessories shopping list.

We will embed the Matterport 3D Showcase to this blog post, once our client gives us an okay, so that you can see how unobtrusive the Wedge-It door stop is in the photography.
