This week, the Matterport User Group Forum celebrates 300 members from 30 countries in less than a year.
The free Forum was founded 26 August 2014 ago by We Get Around Chief Photographer Dan Smigrod to help create community around the Matterport 3D and VR Tour platform.
"I am so thankful and inspired to be part of a passionate tribe of pioneers and innovators like you in interactive 3D and VR Showcase visual storytelling solutions powered by Matterport," says Dan, "I love the speed and enthusiasm of the community's collaboration and discussions."
In the last 30 days, the Forum had 9,000 visits resulting in nearly 32,000 page views among 4,000+ posts among nearly 400 threads. The Forum receives as many as 500+ visits per day.
"We created the Matterport User Group Forum so that we could connect Matterport 3D content creators worldwide," says Dan. "As I wrote then, “Our vision is a community of Matterport users getting help and helping others with Matterport capture, creation and sharing."
"It's exciting to see how quickly the Forum has spread across the United State and around the globe," says Dan.
